Go! Go! Go! Operation C9” Premieres Next Monday After “The Song of Glory”

 

Starring Samantha Ko (高海寧), Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Lokyi Lai (黎諾懿), Brian Chu (朱敏瀚), Kiwi Yuen (袁潔儀), and Griselda Yeung (楊卓娜), Operation C9 stars Samantha as Yu Siu Kiu, a former spy with the code name C9 (a play on the Cantonese term for “housewife”). After her organization was wiped out by an unknown source, Siu Kiu falls in love with the vegetable vendor owner Ko Tai King (Kenneth). They get married, and Siu Kiu is welcomed into his large family, comprised of his father Ko Au (Steven Lee 李家鼎), older sister Ko Ching Lai (Kiwi), younger brother Ko Tai Kiu (Brian), and King’s young son, Ko Hei Long. In five years time, Siu Kiu goes from being a deadly spy to a typical Hong Kong housewife.

Suddenly, her former partner-in-crime, the agent B3 (Lokyi) appears out of nowhere, and asks Siu Kiu to assist him in finding the culprit behind their organization’s destruction. Siu Kiu struggles to balance her duties as a housewife and an agent. When her identity gets exposed, Siu Kiu must do whatever it takes to protect her family.

Go! Go! Go! Operation C9, previously known as Agent C9, was shot in the summer of 2018. It is Samantha Ko’s first drama as a top billing actress.
