It seems to me that there is something like that in Queen Boxer too.

And It also seems to me that there is a movie with Yang Pan Pan showing shapes on a color background, but maybe I'm mistaken and I don't remember the title of the movie, sorry...

Omni Dragon

Red: Crystal Fist, The Thundering Mantis, The Dragon Lives Again, deleted scene from Knockabout

Grey: Shaolin Mantis

Various colours: The Brave Archer, The 36th Chamber of Shaolin

Black: Odd Couple, Shaolin and Wu Tang
Disciples of the 36th Chamber uses a black background and a red stage/ground.

In Super Power 1980 Billy Chong performs a form as if it were against a solid colour background in an interior however it's in an exterior field.

Some of these might not count as their backgrounds have more things than just a solid colour.

Shaolin Avengers had a yellow background opening demo credit sequence.

Really? I remember a golden-brownish night time set, not a plain colord background.... but I haven't seen the film in many years. Anyone confirm this one?

Shame on me, I was thinking of Disciples of Shaolin intro and got the titles mixed up.

Yasuaki Kurata trains ona blue background during the credits of Which is stronger, Karate or Tiger ?

True, but that's Japanese and Karate, not Kung Fu.

Well, maybe I'm going to be wrong again, but...It's not really a demo, but the beginning of The delinquent has blue and red background and shows some postures from Wang Chung...

Kung Fu Kids (1986) has a red background at the beginning.

Sort of, but I didn't count it as it is intercut with a bunch of other stuff, gym, recording studio etc.
