Can someone provide a list of all the Martial Arts movies Lo Wei directed for Shaw Brothers?

I'm having trouble finding a list.

Oh that's all? I figured it would be more. I guess he did more modern movies than period martial arts films.

Did various genres, 16 films. I really like the two Angel films and Golden Buddha.

Edit: Just rewatched Angel with the Iron Fists... and I had honestly forgotten how much it drags. Damn it, Lo Wei.... you're making a fun, breezy, spoofy spy flick... it does not need to be almost two hours long! 80-90 min. is fine.

He also made remakes of his own movies for the Malay Shaw Brothers :

Nora Zain Agen Wanita 001 (remake of Angel strikes again of Angel with the iron fists, I don't remember)

Jefri Zain : Jurang bahaya

Jefri Zain : Bayangan Ajal

One of these two latters is a remake of Summons to death, if I'm not mistaken, and i don't remember for the third one.

And ha also made a Black Butterfly in 1960, that is mentioned as a crime movie.

Off topic : @TibetanWhiteCrane, I love your new avatar. It's the same as the one I used on another forum that I visit less and less...

I've now seen "Brothers Five" and "The Shadow Whip". Both movies tons of fun. Not sure which is better though. But if youre a Cheng Pei Pei fan you might prefer TSW more just because she has a more prominent role.

I'd love to see more of his movies but I think those are the only two on Prime.

His Shaw martial arts output was pure gold. If really want to seek flaws they are extremely minor. Black butterfly is quite slowburner at first and in Shadowwhip there is in final moments far too many good guys vs baddie. All 8 are essential if one enjoys swordplay movies from that era.

Lo was better with SB than he was with GH, so it makes you wonder what would have happened had Bruce Lee not fallen out with him. They could have teamed up together when Bruce was about to leave GH. I wonder if Bruce saw any of Lo's Shaw output.
