Movies with the classic "Counting Fingers Drinking Game."

I've seen this game in several movies and always wondered the rules and history to it.  It's a drinking game involving two people (or at least two people)  sitting across from each other at a table who start off by touching fists or palms then what follows is sing-songy silliness as the two competitors  try to out do each other in rhyme (or song); sometimes with exaggerated hand gestures indicating animals in the rhyme, but ultimately ends in a finger counting duel until one is declared the loser and must drink.  Or is it the winner that must drink?  I don't quite remember.  

Anyone knowing the rules and history to this game, please share it.

Also, please name other movies with the "Counting Fingers Drinking Game."   I know of two off the top of my head,  both Sun Chung movies starring Ti Lung:

I'm almost positive it was Shanghai Noon. But I wouldn't bet on it.

Yeah, it as Shanghai Noon, where they do it in the twin bathtubs, and then in the same bathtub for comic emphasis.
