Seven Swords?? // also Curse of the Golden Flower Question..

I am not sure how many versions are there but the one I've seen was definitely way too short. (Audio)visually, it was totally beautiful and breathtaking, but it seemed to lack focus and consistency, and way too often you got the impression that something essential was missing...

I've heard that the original version was considerably longer and large chunks of it had to be cut out. Unfortunately, it shows.

But I'd still say that Seven Swords is a movie worth watching. If nothing else, it really looks great and it ain't boring.

I just watched seven swords for the first time. I thought it was a pretty good flick, but I do have one question. I dont know if i missed something or what, but can anyone explain to me what the deal was with the thousand year old sword they found, its like they found it in the ground then nothing happened with it.

The ancient sword is meant for the sequel(s), if and when they were ever made (hopefully).
