Member NoKUNGFUforYU Posted May 12, 2020 Member Share Posted May 12, 2020 Stephen Thompson is an Elite UFC fighter who uses karate/tae kwon do (along with some other stuff, of course) and probably fights in the style that resembles Bruce Lee and other action stars. He can pull off all the flashy kicks, fights from a wide stance, and wins way more then he loses. This is a great commentary, as it comes from a respectful, fun loving guy that can really fight. As good as he is, he will tell you that fighting more than one guy is super difficult (and not done correctly in the movies) and if someone pulls a knife, he's going to run! Anyway, a great interview, both a big fan and a dose of reality at the same time!

Anyway, a great interview, both a big fan and a dose of reality at the same time! Former Navy Seal and one time pro wrestler Jesse Ventura, once said this about knives. When someone pulls a knife it usually ends up stuck into you the other guy or both When he was heel Pro-Wrestler he got a lot of heat in the 70's. When walking back to the locker room after one match, he said a crazed fan jumped from the crowd and pulled a big knife. Lucky for him, a planes clothes cop saw what was happeneing, and intercepted the guy. He's a big guy with combat training, but even he said he was unsure about how it would have ended. If that cop hadnt been around.
