Member teako170 Posted April 25, 2020 Member Share Posted April 25, 2020 That title could have made for a cool film - if it wasn't so real. Here's a snippet of the past in the legal battle between the two HK giants. From April 1971.
Member Killer Meteor Posted April 25, 2020 Member Share Posted April 25, 2020 Interesting stuff! I note in the subsequent One Armed Swordsmen (1976), Wang Yu and David Chiang look the same as their Shaws counterparts, but in One Armed Swordsman Against 9 Killers, they get around it by having Wang Yu be missing his left arm instead! Member Iron_Leopard Posted June 15, 2020 Member Share Posted June 15, 2020 Great find! I'm actually not familiar with the behind the scenes antics that went in at Shaw Brothers that I didn't even know Raymond Chow use to work there before he left and started Golden Harvest.
