I still have my original VHS tape that I had gotten for Christmas in 1990. And using my VCR last year, it still holds up well....remembering having a Pizza Hut ad before the movie begins.

Does the VHS happen to be the censored version? I read that the censored version contains alternate/longer scenes not included on the uncut, original theatrical version.

Still love these movies, especially the 1st one.. so much nostalgia and goodness :xd:.. I wish a proper blu-ray would come out with some extras etc...

If CGI is the way to go with TMNT (or with everything in general), might as well do it like this! 🔥🔥🔥

That is fucking awesome! WOW! That blew me away!

Better than the Michael Bay shit! (anything would be)

I hope the creator behind those videos gets employed by Hollywood soon. He knows how it's done.

The thing that shocked me is how good everything looks. Movement, lighting, texture etc.

They almost look live action and not CGI.

They also keep the look of the 1990 movie which I think was the best while giving it a tiny upgrade. Not like the Bay monstrosity's where the turtles were carrying anything but the kitchen sink.

"Day 6 of 10 of martial arts photos that impacted my life. This photo has actually impacted a lot more people's lives than just mine. This is a photo that was taken by Ernie Reyes Jr. while he and I were in Arizona appearing at halftime at a football game in early 1990. It was the one time the producers tried to take the movie costumes out in public to see if making appearances like this would work to promote the film before it came out (I guess it wasn't worth it, because they never did it again). Ernie and I were getting changed into our costumes in the field house and I asked Ern if he would snap a photo for me. Since then, this has become the photo that I have signed for autographs at hundreds of appearances over the years. My guess is that there are a few thousand of these photos out there now, people use them as birthday gifts or to line bird cages."

Movie 1 - Straight edge no bullshit and pre-fame.

Movie 2 - Now in showbiz circles and dabbling in drink/drugs.

Movie 3 - Full on meth users!

I'm glad a 4th movie never happened after how TMNT3 turned out. The Next Mutation series sucks and the 5th turtle Venus is awful!

I don't get why they can't make another film like the first one!

Finally! I doubt it'll get any extras but a nice remaster would be nice!

Jimenez is a very, very good artist.  Shame he's only on covers - will be interesting to see who's on interiors.

Speaking of TMNT, had no idea IDW had just relaunched the comics with a new #1.
