Member AlbertV Posted March 11, 2020 Member Share Posted March 11, 2020 Shooting begins in five weeks on the new action-comedy The Man from Toronto. Originally, Jason Statham was to play the titular assassin, but dropped out last week due to schedule conflicts. Woody Harrelson, recently finishing his scenes as Cletus "Carnage" Kasady in the upcoming Venom 2, will replace Statham and Kevin Hart is still attached to the film: The story begins when the world’s deadliest assassin, known as the Man from Toronto, and a New York City screw-up run into each other at an Airbnb. A clash of personalities, and a clash with deadly killers, ensues. Patrick Hughes is directing the film written by Robbie Fox, from a story by Fox and Jason Blumenthal. Todd Black, Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are producing. The film is scheduled to be released on November 20. https://www.darkhorizons.com/harrelson-replaces-statham-in-toronto/
