Is Slave of the Sword (1994) a remake of Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan (1972)?
I ask because a lot of the wuxia films from the 1990s were adaptations of Jin Yong (or Gu Long) novels, remakes of Shaw Brothers classics, or both. There weren't a whole lot of original wuxia films being made at that time. Thus, my question.
