I watched this last night. It's basically a remake of the 1995 film, but with Scorpion as an anti-hero and Quan Chi having a role, too. That said, it was a lot of fun, with lots of animated fight sequences and LOADS of gore (plus a few F-bombs). I was a bit worried about Johnny Cage's character going all Tropic Thunder on the plot, but then he figures out what's going on and has a nice fight against an army of demons. But yeah, this movie handily settles a MK itch and is highly recommended to fans of the IP.
