Evidence suggests that he just had the one son, but that does look like an older photo. Unless he had children from an earlier marriage.
Member Shaolivevil Posted November 25, 2019 Member Share Posted November 25, 2019 Damn...I just found out. Chen Sing was an unforgettable and intimidating figure in kung fu cinema whether as hero or villain. With his rugged Bronson-esque looks and a well developed and muscular upper body, he stood out among his peers in kung fu films with his intense performances and exuded power and ferocity whenever he flexed his martial arts skill. He will always be remembered as one of kung fu cinema's well-known and beloved, "tough guys". RIP Chen Sing
Member ShawAngela Posted November 25, 2019 Member Share Posted November 25, 2019 (edited) Well, if the magazine shown above is from 1975 and shows a maybe 2 or 3 years old son to Chen Sing, he was born around the 70's, and if a site mentions a son born in 1994 as shows DragonClaws, it can't be the same person... Fair point, I hadn't seen the date of the magazine. Is it confirmed that the child he's holding is indeed his son?
Member ShawAngela Posted November 25, 2019 Member Share Posted November 25, 2019 Even if The boy on the magazine Isn't his son, the magazine itself mentions that he has a son...
Member Killer Meteor Posted November 25, 2019 Author Member Share Posted November 25, 2019 I could swear there was a website for Chen Sing's teenage pianist son about 10 years ago...

Not to mention the press/media showing interest in him too. My hat goes off to actor Chin Kar-Lok, for putting it all together. With fellow actor and sometime co-star Jimmy Wang-Yu. Member Cognoscente Posted June 15, 2021 Member Share Posted June 15, 2021 I wonder if Chan Wai-Man attended the funeral. They seemed close in the April '75 issue of Hong Kong Movie News.
