Willy's Wonderland (2021) - Nicolas Cage, Beth Grant, Terayle Hill, Caylee Cowan

Yes everyone, Nicolas Cage is staying busy! He's got Primal out next week, Jiu-Jitsu and more coming next year. Yesterday, he signed on for a new horror film called Willy's Wonderland. It's pretty much Five Nights at Freddy's, where he will play a man attempting to escape an evil amusement park. It's being described as Pale Rider meets Killer Klowns from Outer Space...check out the news here at SlashFilm.

Willy’s Wonderland has a dark secret and when THE JANITOR (Cage) is forced to spend the night in the twisted amusement park he is pulled into a living nightmare. As the threatening animatronic characters come to life, The Janitor has to fight his way from one monster to another to survive until morning and get out of the park.

Looks like it might be alright. I like Nic Cage and horror films, so this will probably be right up my alley. I also love how the name sounds like the title of an old porn flick( "Spend the night cleaning Willy's Wonderland" indeed. lol)

I bought the Blu-Ray yesterday and watched it with my 14-year old daughter (she's becoming a big fan of horror now)...OMG it was insane and yet at the same time, very awesome....this is not a spoiler but get ready for this one...Nic Cage doesn't speak a word throughout the entire film as "The Janitor". 

But what's more amazing is why the animatronics do what they do...now here's the spoiler

The film takes a page of the original Child's Play, a band of serial killers wore the suits to kill families during birthday parties and before they are caught, performed a Satanic ritual that transferred their spirits into the animatronic characters.

I freaking loved it!

Left a mini review on march 2 didnt know there was a thread for it.

Willys Wonderland- New movie I just saw in theaters. Like a cross between Drive and Banana Splits (though I havent seen splits). Great beer flick, meaning you may need a few to get the most enjoyment out of this one. Cages character constantly drinks these energy drinks which makes it feel like hes drinking along with you. 

Liked it enough to even want to watch it again sometime. Wouldnt even mind a sequel. Made me realize how that I actually miss nicholas cage onscreen. Want to go check out Mandy now.

Mandy is one of his best OTT performances ever! I considered this my favorite film of 2018. Ultraviolent and insane! Plus, his weapon "The Beast" is one of a kind!

Though directed with energy and having the good old grindhouse vibe, WW is nothing more than Cage fighting animatronic puppets which looks as dumb as it sounds. If you're not a fan of Cage like me, you might consider skipping it. The best thing about the movie was Caylee Cowan, if miracles do happen and you're reading this Caylee, will you marry me?

You sure are @DarthKato, all KFF memebers will be invited. What I like best about weddings are wedding cakes so if nothing you can be sure there'll be plenty of that.
