Member AlbertV Posted September 18, 2019 Member Share Posted September 18, 2019 RLJE Films and Fangoria Films are teaming up as they acquired the rights to a horror-action film entitled VFW, with a 1st quarter 2020 release date in motion. The film stars Stephen Lang (Into the Badlands), William Sadler (Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey), and Fred Williamson (Black Caesar) as three war veterans who must protect their local VFW post and an innocent team against a deranged drug dealer and his army of punk mutants. The film co-stars Martin Kove, David Patrick Kelly, and George Wendt. The horror-action film is making its debut this week at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX. The Last Kids on Earth creator Max Braillier co-wrote the script with Matthew McArdle with Joe Begos as the film's director.
