The final Disney+ MCU Phase 4 series will revolve around Hawkeye. However, as he has long planned to retire, Clint Barton searches for a protege to take up his mantle and finds one in socialite Kate Bishop. Clint takes Kate under his wing and trains her to eventually become the new Hawkeye. Renner is the only confirmed cast member so far.

Production began in NYC yesterday and it has been confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld is playing Kate Bishop, who will become the new Hawkeye after she trains with the retiring Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner).

Florence Pugh will also be showing up as the new Black Widow, Yelena Belova, on the series after her appearance in the upcoming Black Widow movie. Vera Farmiga is playing Kate's mother, Alaqua Cox plays Maya Lopez, aka "Echo", a deaf Native American who can copy others' movements (a spinoff with her character is in development) and Zahn McClarnon plays Echo's father on the show.

Production wrapped up last week and the series will debut this Fall on Disney+
