Member panku Posted July 19, 2019 Member Share Posted July 19, 2019 I just saw that 'The Wheel of Life' was shown at a film festival in Italy earlier this year. Previously only available on a Taiwanese VHS, it looks a lot better now! Looks like the Taiwan Film Institute did the restoration as they did with 4 other King Hu titles. (Dragon Inn, Four Moods, A Touch of Zen, Legend of the Mountain) Only the first section of the film was directed by King Hu, the other 2 sections by 2 directors who were also involved in Four Moods (1970).
