John Woo... video game designer? (+ new movie)

I was flipping through my sons newest issue of GameInformer magazine and stumbled about John Woo's name several times. Apparently he has two new video games with his named attached coming out. First one is call "Strangledhold". looks to be a Hardboiled type bullet ballet shooter complete with a lead character who appears to be played by Chow Yun Fat. A special edition will be released on the PS3 which puts the game and the film "Hard Boiled" on the same blu-ray disc. I also saw this:

Director John Woo and game developer Warren Spector are teaming up for a project called "Ninja Gold", which will involve ninja in modern day settings- not pirates. The Game will be one of the first for Spectors Junction Point Studios, but no release date or platforms have been announced. Woo is also planning a film of the project.

This is what really got my attention "Woo is also planning a film of the project". John Woo directing a Ninja flick eh, VERY interesting!!
