Member Cognoscente Posted February 18, 2023 Member Share Posted February 18, 2023 I feel like there should be more photos of Bruce on the set. In the below 1990 issue of Martial Arts Illustrated, Sammo mentioned (in the left column) that he saw Bruce every day at the studio during what would have been the HK shoot of When Taekwondo Strikes (i.e. after they finished filming in Korea). There is something peculiar about the timing of when things were completed during the making of WTS. In a 2001 interview that Jhoon Rhee did, he mentioned that Bruce dropped him off at the airport on July 6. This was the day after Bruce had that nasty spat with Lo Wei. Another example of curious timing - July 19: Bruce called Jhoon to tell him that WTS was ready for release, and that he argued with the director about who should be the star. July 20: Jhoon finds out that Bruce died. https://www.cityonfire.com/unknown/interviews/jhoonrhee/index.htm
