Member SamSeed Posted May 17, 2020 Member Share Posted May 17, 2020 I reviewed this for a film website a few months back, I enjoyed it. Typical gritty Brit flick but with a bit more depth than you usually see. Not a ton of action but when the fights hit, they hit very, very hard: https://www.filmstories.co.uk/reviews/villain-review-a-british-action-movie-worth-seeking-out/
Member AlbertV Posted May 18, 2020 Member Share Posted May 18, 2020 I felt like I was watching the British equivalent of a Scorsese film. Very gripping, minimal yet brutal action. I even got to talk to Craig Fairbrass himself about the film. Awesomely nice fella too. https://worldfilmgeek.com/2020/05/18/villain-2020/ https://worldfilmgeek.com/2020/05/18/not-a-true-villain-an-interview-with-craig-fairbrass/
