He will be missed by readers of his numerous manga and by fans who enjoyed the media adaptations of Lone Wolf and Cub, Lady Snowblood, Crying Freeman and more. A few days earlier, on April 11, a former manga rival, Monkey Punch, creator of Lupin III, also passed away from pneumonia. His works with Kamimura (another genius) and Ikegami are legendary. Lively and humanist work. Far from the garbage modern manga industry released nowadays.
