Warigami (2019) New series with origami weapons

Warigami is "a fun, action adventure about a female Japanese warrior who specializes in making lethal weapons out of paper."  It is a "new series [that] will premiere in competition at Canneseries on April 10.  It will debut later this year on CBC Gem in Canada and on CW Seed in the U.S."  The series has 10-episodes, each episode 6 to 12 minutes long.  Eddie Kim created the series, which stars Emily Piggford (The Girlfriend Experience), Kai Bradbury (as twin brother Vincent), Akiel Julien, Miho Suzuki (Colossal), Hiro Kanagawa (Heroes Reborn; Altered Carbon; iZombie), and David Hewlett (The Shape of Water).  Official synopsis - "Wendy Ohata has just made three startling realizations.  One, she has a twin brother named Vincent.  Two, she's a kami-jin, a descendent of an ancient Japanese people who can turn paper into deadly weapons.  And three, there's a kami-jin warrior named Sadako hunting her down for reasons she doesn't understand."  From https://screenanarchy.com/2019/03/warigami-trailer-on-paper-this-means-war.html
