Member AlbertV Posted March 1, 2019 Member Share Posted March 1, 2019 An American football player in the Philippines is looking for his mother, who disappeared while on a missionary visit. He plays for a local American football team when first, his estranged girlfriend accuses him of abuse but to make things worse, he has been diagnosed with brain cancer. This is his story of recovery and redemption. I feel faith-based films can be both great to watch and some are well, look at Kirk Cameron's Left Behind films. This one is a great film, with Sean Patrick Flanery playing a journalist who finds himself at a crossroads when he is assigned to do a piece on the football player, played by Steven Brewis (whose physical appearance was used as the main character of Scott Ryder in the video game Mass Effect: Andromeda). The film is coming to DVD, VOD, and Digital this Tuesday. Review: http://worldfilmgeek.com/2019/03/01/100-yards-2019/
