After reading the above statment, I wasnt sure if this was the right thread to make a post about this Australian film?. It's not the first time Hong Kong style action, has been mixed with a period setting, the 2001 movie, The Mustkateer, with Tim Roth, hired Corey Yuen to handle the action. Thats not to say, this film wont be any good, too early to really say at the moment. It's certainly going for the same aproach as the recent Hollywood re-boot, playing with the storys origins etc. Only this looks like its going to be much more tonuge in cheek. With characters from other historial/mythical tales such as King Arthur, being thrown into the mix.
