Member shukocarl Posted December 30, 2018 Member Share Posted December 30, 2018 Anyone know what film "Rise of the Iron Hand" is? A U.S. retitling that played with "Triple Irons" in 1973.
Member odioustrident Posted December 31, 2018 Member Share Posted December 31, 2018 I searched this AKA on Newspaper archives where I can usually find other weird retitlings on the Grindhouse circuit. I cannot find it but there is a small chance it is "Duel of the Iron Fist." Have you seen this listing in an old newspaper or on a marquee pic? Member odioustrident Posted December 31, 2018 Member Share Posted December 31, 2018 I do see that "Iron Hand" was intended to be one of the Fist of Fury retitles .
Member Omni Dragon Posted January 1, 2019 Member Share Posted January 1, 2019 The only movie name I was aware to have 'Iron hands' (in or before 1973) in the title was, 1972's The Iron hands and bronze head which was originally named Bronze Head and Steel Arm. Member shukocarl Posted January 1, 2019 Author Member Share Posted January 1, 2019 The Marquee is featured in the 1973 film, "Mickey & Nicky". It shows RISE OF THE IRON HAND, THE LAUGHING POLICEMAN (Walter Matthau film) and TRIPLE IRONS. It was featured couple of days ago on Facebook.
