Member whitesnake Posted December 14, 2018 Member Share Posted December 14, 2018 Besides the Netflix anime series, a possible live action Ultraman series may be in the works. "The word is out this week via The Hollywood Reporter that popular tokusatsu property, Ultraman, is being stirred for a reboot from Jeff Gomez's Starlight Runner Entertainment in partnership with The Licensing Group. The goal will be to reintroduce the highly acclaimed Japanese superhero property with a live-action TV series across multiple platforms including cable, streaming and SVoD, and with licensing and merchandising for U.S. and international markets." From https://filmcombatsyndicate.com/ultraman-goes-global-with-plans-for-live-action-series-reboot/ "The Japanese superhero Ultraman is getting the reboot treatment outside its country of origin. U.S. transmedia producer Starlight Runner Entertainment has been tapped by Tokyo-based Tsuburaya Productions to build out the Ultraman mythology for the digital age outside of Japan, to include a possible live action streaming TV series."
