A great movie! Hard to put to words but there's something about it that sticks with you. An assassin from Taiwan Mr. Long (Chen Chang) gets stuck on the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan after a hit gone awry. There he's befriended by a small boy which lives with his junkie mother. I don't want to give away too much but there's a lot here about compassion and humanity. There's few scenes with outbursts of violence. Also some disturbing scenes. There's a certain beauty about the way the movie is shot and the performances. There's barely any talking. If I would have to find fault with something it would be that there's probably one too many coincidences to move the story along. But that's really complaining on a very high level. Glad I could enjoy something different. Highly recommended!
