Member whitesnake Posted November 12, 2018 Member Share Posted November 12, 2018 Supergrid, a Canadian "high -octane post-apocalyptic road movie" directed by Lowell Dean (Wolf Cop) will be the opening night film at the 7th Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival in Toronto Nov 22 - 27, 2018. "Set in the near future, [Supergrid] follows the story of two estranged brothers... who must travel the notorious "Grid" to collect and deliver a mysterious cargo. Facing off with road pirates and carjackers, they miss their drop-off and unleash a violent showdown with the crime syndicate at Black Lake." Cast includes Leo Fafard (Wolf Cop), Marshall Williams (Sorry For Your Loss), Natalie Krill (Wynonna Earp TV series), Jay Reso (Haven TV series), Amy Matysio (Another WolfCop), and Jonathan Cherry (Wolf Cop). The movie was filmed in Saskatchewan. The Blood in the Snow Film Festival was "created in 2012 with a mandate to highlight the best in contemporary genre filmmaking in Canada."
