Not sure if this is the best sub forum to put this under, but his books certainly were the source for many Shaw Brothers movies (Brave Archer series, Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre, Little Dragon Maiden, Tales of the Flying Fox, and a few more) and indirectly inspired many of the other wuxia movies at SB.

Adding to the Shaw adaptations named by @Chemical Lemon : LEGEND OF THE FOX, THE PROUD YOUTH, A DEADLY SECRET, SWORD STAINED WITH ROYAL BLOOD, EMPEROR AND HIS BROTHER, ODE TO GALLANTRY, TALES OF A EUNUCH, BATTLE WIZARD.

The second volume of the English translation of Legend of Condor Heroes (A Bond Undone) will be published in January. Meanwhile, all 3 parts of the John Minford translation of Deer and Cauldron were republished by Oxford University Press this June in a 3 volume set. Formerly, some of the single editions were OOP and used copies traded for more or less ridiculous prices. If interested, better pick up the 3 volume set before this edition gets OOP too.

"An offline exploration center themed with the most popular novels of Jin Yong will be established in the city of Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province.

The development project of Jin Yong's Martial Arts World's Whole Industrial Chain features, among other things, a film, gaming and virtual reality, which is a boon for many fans of Jin Yong (Louis Cha Leung-yung), one of the most renowned wuxia (literally martial heroes) novelists of all time.

The development project also includes an offline hall that offers themed experiences of Jin Yong's Condor trilogy, according to a signing ceremony held Sunday at Wuxi Studios, a national filmmaking base."
