Chuck Russell, the director of The Mask, The Scorpion King, and A Nightmare of Elm Street 3, directs what looks like a Bollywood version of Tom Yum Goong aka The Protector. Vidyut Jammwal is a vet who on his homecoming to his father’s elephant reserve, encounters and fights an international poachers racket.

Coming to India on April 5, 2019.

If it wasn't Bollywood i would say why, because why make something if isn't better then the original. Then again maybe it would be, usually isn't though. Hopefully it is good and can live up to the original atleast action wise.

From the director of Eraser(1995) and Nightmare on ElmStreet 3(1987), comes JUNGLEE, who appears to be a Martial Arts/Tarzan type character, with an appreciation of wildlife. Starring Vidyut Jammwal(Commando2013), who looks like he's appearing in the latest Diet Coke advert, for the first part of the trailer. However, things take a slightly darker turn in the last part of the the following short preview. This is a family movie, so dont expect R-Rated action/themes.

From Wikipedia - "To prepare for the role, Jammwal learned Animal flow style of combat and Kalaripayattu."  "Kalaripayattu... is an Indian martial art and fighting system that originated in Kerala.  It is considered by some to be the oldest martial art still in existence, with its origin dating back to the 3rd century BCE."  Kalaripayattu was the martial art used by Tiger Shroff in Baaghi.
