Feng Shui (Korean title Myungdang) is a new South Korean movie getting a very limited  theatrical release by CJ Entertainment in Southern California on September 21, 2018, and a wider release on October 5th.  It is set during Korea's Joseon dynasty (1392 - 1897 A.D.).  "One's ancestors' tomb spot could change one's destiny.  Jae-Sang, a prodigal geomancer, loses his family while trying to stop the Kim family from conquering Korea by getting their hands on all the propitious tomb spots.  13 years later, Heung-Sun from a fallen royal family comes to Jae-Sang and suggests ousting the Kim family from power.  The two men decide to work together, but they soon reach conflict when they learn of a tomb spot that would produce two kings in a family."   The movie is directed by Park Hee-Kon (Perfect Game).  The cast includes Cho Seung-woo (Tazza: The High Rollers), Moon Chae-won (War of the Arrows), Ji Seong (Confession), and Kim Seong-gyoon (Kundo: Age of the Rampant).  News from  https://filmcombatsyndicate.com/feng-shui-us-trailer/ and  http://asianwiki.com/Feng_Shui  and https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7046524/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_1

I would love to see this on the big screen - hopefully we will get it here in NYC as we usually get most of the releases.

The AMC Empire in Times Square is currently showing another Korean period movie "The Great Battle" which I plan on seeing later this week.
