I welcome the lower profile movies. Most of my most wanted movies are lower profile because these are the ones I haven’t seen because they’re tougher to find in decent or any quality. It’s also where most of the bizarre oddities live. I also feel like most of the high profile movies that don’t have rights issues, or rights owned by companies that refuse to license them, or lack of good materials have already been released. The big exception here being Shaw brothers but that’s kind of it’s own issue due to how things work with celestial, and still I feel like a good number of the highest profile movies have finally made it onto blu. I am however thrilled that arrow is on board now and even shout factory will at least give us movies that might not have seen release on blu in the US/UK. Things have just been so good the last few years I hope the lower profile movies don’t knock the wind out of the sails

Miracle Fighters 2 - 4, Hell'z Wind Staff, Fight Among The Supers.

The list could go on forever.

I love to see lesser known movies being released. I love Dragons Forever, but 900 versions of that is to me not as exciting as say The Shaolin Plot or something like Centipede Horror, Seventh Curse etc.

Wicked! Finally a proper translation without spelling mistakes and no doubt audio commentary.

Well... I would have written "I won't kneel before you" instead of "I'll not kneel before you" and "If you'll kneel before me " doesn't seem correct for me, I would have simply written "If you kneel"...

BUt I'm not a native English speaker, and I may be mistaken...

There's a whole trove of grammar issues in the film. We know it'll be fixed.

Already pre-ordered. Coming soon, like at the end of August. If that's the case, Christmas will be here before you know it.

There are some people hating on FB that Eureka is putting up too much kung fu movies, but it seems to be popular if they're always selling out quickly. I'm excited for this release and hope we get more GH works! The cover arts and Frank Djeng commentaries are equally as valuable!!!!!

Eureka is more than happy to release other films not just martial arts. I'm sure they won't take any notice of these bell ends.

Never seen The Skyhawk, is there anything similar you could compare it too?

Plot wise, I'd say it's the bastard child of The Big Boss and Warriors Two

Magnificent Butcher, I'd say. At least cast-wise.

That definetly sums it up. It feels like Wong Fei-hung has landed in a 70s grindhouse setting.

And it's a LOT better than Shaws' rival WFH film from the same year, RIVALS (hey, what do you know?) OF KUNG FU.

Pity Shih Kien couldn't be in this one.

I wrote a review for this one in 2021 which you’re welcome to check out via the link.

Also, plenty of opinions in the dedicated thread as usual -

Read the reviews; watched the original trailer --> definite purchase for me. Thanks.

I dont expect "drunken master 2 fighting" or "odd couple choreo" or "bruce lee charisma"  from a 70s classic. But since I watched through shawscope vol 1 (especially king boxer and boxer from shantung) I'm careful and more questioning my purchases concerning pre '76 productions. I definitely understand and appreciate the value of those movies and also understand the love for them. But begging your forgiveness: I didnt like king boxer not even a little bit concerning the fighting. The finale of boxer from shantung was nice to watch, but not because of the fighting. Elsewise I was totally bored out. (I think a big problem was as always my expectations. I was told that king boxer etc. are great movies and so on.) Thats why I tend to do more research newly before preorder.

PS: dont hate me but also "one armed boxer" and "the chinese boxer" from Jimmy Wang Yu pushed me to think twice before preorder. 🥲🥲🥲

Just to note that Burning Paradise does not include the english dub.Doesn't bother me too much but was definitely listed on the initial specs and it's still listed as having it on Eureka's own website.
