No doubt it's a Dr Svet review. He's a laughing stock as a reviewer over at BD.COM

They all are. They should just review the tech specs and leave the film reviews to people who know what they are talking about.

Frank Djeng giving Manfred Wong a copy of Eureka's Duel to the Death. Manfred was one of the scriptwriters of the movie.

That is nuts..well, to each his own obviously.  I did not read his reasons but checked out he gave 4/5 for far weaker Yes, madam:thinking

If you look at the film through the prism of an expert movie critic from Empire, then fine.

If you know a bloody thing about martial arts, martial arts movies, action, or the like, then it's 5/5. In the Line of Duty IV is a brilliant martial arts actioner and that was the intention when the damn thing was made.

Whoever reviewed the movie isn't worth listening to.

What's up with the links? They're not parsing properly?

I don't know, but they were posts on their account with screenshots, and the images and descriptions match those three films (which they teased earlier this year when they put images of a bunch of year long releases).

Mmmm. That Samurai Reincarnation name sounds familiar. I'm sure I have it but searching for it online gave no results for a DVD that I recognise.

No. But I did find it. A Taiwanese DVD, along with some others that I wish to have updated.

@Yggdrasil just to be clear, there are two films with the same title. The SAMURAI REINCARNATION you have in your picture is a 2003 film directed by Hideyuki Hirayama and starring Yosuke Kubozuka. The SAMURAI REINCARNATION on the Shout Factory set, and that Eureka is going to be releasing soon is from 1981, directed by Kinji Fukasaku, and stars Sonny Chiba.

Wow, looking good, cover art has improved.

Is Revenge a chambara? If so, I'm probably getting all three.

Samurai reincarnation is such a classic. Initially i felt it was a bit leasurely paced when i fisrt watched it but holy shit what a final scene. Is possibly my favourite duel in any movie.

Does anyone know if there was ever an English dub created for this flick?

And how is lady reporter? Worth buying? Similar levels like yes madam etc??

Lady Reporter, which will always be Above the Law 2 for me, is definitely worth buying.

The fight scenes are off the hook (from memory, the climax takes place on the Dragons Forever set).
