Member DragonClaws Posted November 21, 2021 Author Member Share Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Quote It may sound unlikely, but it’s true: A young Jackie Chan is hiding in an episode of the hit 1960s TV series “I Spy” starring Robert Culp and Bill Cosby. The fact that the then 11-year-old Jackie Chan and some of his friends appeared in a US TV series should be considered a great coincidence – or was it good research by the producers? Never seen this released under the title Dragon Commando, I wonder which cut of the film it is?. source- https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079509/ Edited December 20, 2021 by DragonClaws

I'm not sure who's about to receive the award for most stylish posing trunks?. As toned and muscular as Jackie is in this pic, he can't compare to suave aura put out by Charlie Chin.

Yes, there is actual TV footage shown in one of the extras that I recently watched but for the life of me, I can't recall where I saw it? It might've been the Gold Ninja Jackiesploitation blu ray set but don't quote me on it.
Member DragonClaws Posted January 20, 2022 Author Member Share Posted January 20, 2022 Was this only released in America?, the tape claims it features an Exclusive interview with Jackie Chan on the reverse. It's a box-set, which comes paired with Shaolin Wooden Men (1976). The compilation of Jackie Chan fights/stutns, runs for forty nine minutes. I'm guessing its just yet another bootleg re-titling of Lo Wei's cut & splice films?.

The artwork features some soldiers armed with the British L85 assault rifle, which was introduced in '85. Unsure when photos of that might have been available to the public, I'm no Tom Clancy. As for the "Number One Summer Hit" - maybe they released this version on the very, very first day of Summer that year, before any other action movies, so it could hold that title by default? I'd love to peek into the alternate universe where Fantasy Mission Force was a big hit in the US. Member DragonClaws Posted January 23, 2022 Author Member Share Posted January 23, 2022 In the Essential Jackie Chan Sourcebook (Jeff Rovin & Kathy Tracy), there's a number of mystery movies listed at the end their Jackie Chan filmography. Does anyone know more about the title Real Kung Fu of Shaolin - Part 1, thats not listed in the book?.

In the book they list a cast member called Yang Lung. Who they credit as appearing in 13 Evil Bandits - (1979) & Flying Claw Fights 14 Demons, Im not sure when this title was made?. Two movies I've never viewed myself. I dont know any actor under this name either?. The authors state that all the other cast members, dont have any other movie credits to their name. Suggesting they might all be using pseudonyms?.

There is one Yang Lun/ Yeung Lun listed in the cast. This is his hkmdb page https://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=14954&display_set=eng Chia Ling and Kam Kong are in NO ONE CAN TOUCH HER, surely a movie worth to watch. Wonder if it has been released on DVD somewhere...

Member Killer Meteor Posted April 23, 2022 Member Share Posted April 23, 2022 If you watch AWAKEN PUNCH (AKA FURY OF THE BLACK BELT), Jackie gets a single scene where he beats the tar out of some unfortunate lady, including a nasty looking knee to the stomach!
