Way back in 1992 I was visiting my cousins and we were watching this kung fu movie. I believe it was from the 70's, 80's at the latest. It may or may not have been Shaw Bros. There are two warring clans (not very helpful, right?) but a key element of the plot is that two fighters on either side were actually switched at birth, a fact which is revealed at the end, and which causes one of them to commit suicide by sticking his sword in a tree and then jumping on it to cut his own throat. I believe there was also an old sage character with the standard wispy white beard, who threw blinding darts. I also think there may have been a hero who had a style where he pretended to be asleep (but I don't think it's any one of those dreaming fist movies). Unfortunately my cousins watched tons of these movies and don't remember which one it was. If any of the above rings a bell and you can help me identify this movie, I will be mighty grateful.
