After blowing possibly everyone away with the "bathroom fight" scene against Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill in Mission: Impossible - Fallout, it is time to give Liang Yang an appreciation thread.

Born in China, but based in the UK, Yang is a martial arts expert who has done his share of action as an actor, stuntman, and fight choreographer. I first saw Yang in Underground, the debut film of UK-based filmmaker Chee Keong-Cheung. Yang joined the likes of Mark Strange, Nathan Lewis, Joey Ansah, Zara Phythian, and Glenn Salvage as one of 12 fighters who compete in a tournament for a $1 million prize.

Yang would work as a stuntman on films like Skyfall, X-Men: First Class, Ra.One, and World War Z among others. However, many will also recognize him as the Stormtrooper who sports a shock baton against John Boyega in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He would appear as a Praetorian Guard and serve as assistant fight coordinator for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and trained lead Felicity Jones in martial arts for her role as Jyn Erso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He would serve as fight coordinator for Pacific Rim: Uprising and of course, getting to throw down with Cruise and Cavill in Fallout.
