I wish it was that straight forward @One Armed Boxer, but we got more work to do in regards to other areas of the documentary too. I can understand how very different things look from your point of view, I'm privy to whats happening in temrs of making this documentary. It's been a huge learning curve for me and continues to be. There are a number of problems we have overcome and are continueing to deal with. We perhap's announced the news of our production too early, a bit like trying to run before you learn to walk.

 

Sure we could rush it out sooner, but it would do the project a big disservice by doing this.

Hi @Yihetuan we already have an interview with Cynthia Rothrock, but we havent approached Mang Hoi yet. I would love to hear his memories of working on Hong Kong movies.

Thanks to Don The Dragon Wilson for contributing an interview to our up-coming Bolo Yeung documentary. Covid-19 has had a huge impact on many film projects, both big and small. We are working hard to get through this rough patch, and we have many further announcements planned.

Our producers were going to work with Mark Hartley and Ratpac Entertianment, but have since parted ways. We are still moving in a positive direction, but I have to keep tight lipped about news/up-dates for now. We want there to be a few surprises for fans, when we do eventually get this project done. We were all set to start putting this together, when Covid-19 hit and put a big block in our path. We are currently working our way around this issue.

@DragonClaws, I periodically check this thread for any further updates on the Bolo documentary and glad to hear it's still progressing towards completion even with having to deal with such major hurdles as Covid obviously but also the behind the scenes disruptions as you alluded to in some of your earlier posts. Keep grinding and best of luck in getting this labor of love finished!

I have to keep tight lipped regarding many of our up-dates, I've given my word on that one. I appreciate the kind words and support @Yihetuan, any news I can share with you guys I will post in this thread.

Bey Logan posted on Facebook last week that this documentary is now no longer going ahead due to "Team Bolo" (his words) not wanting to be involved in it. He also said he'll be using the material that was gathered as part of the documentary for his own book that's currently planned on the life of Bolo. @DragonClaws you're probably best positioned to confirm if this is true?
