Member NoKUNGFUforYU Posted April 30, 2018 Member Share Posted April 30, 2018 The rumor, that I initially heard on Howard Stern, was that Rhee would go out on an annual take back the night event for a kind of neighborhood watch deal and finally got attacked and beat up by a bunch of teenagers. That being said, he taught a decent amount of guys that went into full contact and help introduce contact in American Karate/Tae Kwon Do with his Safe T Kick equipment. I never quite got the point of safe t kick foot pads, as it only covered the roundhouse instep kick and back of heel. A front kick or even more devastating, korean style sidekick was unprotected. Still, it's better than nothing.

Member Cognoscente Posted May 8, 2021 Member Share Posted May 8, 2021 It's a pity that he never had an in-depth interview about When Taekwondo Strikes.
