Member Omni Dragon Posted November 2, 2022 Member Share Posted November 2, 2022 In the US, Armour of God was released as 'Operation Condor 2: The Armour of the Gods' making it seem as though it was the sequel to (Armour of God II) Operation Condor. It seems as though it was marketed this way because as far as I can tell, Operation Condor got released in the US before Armour of God.
Member Omni Dragon Posted February 11, 2023 Member Share Posted February 11, 2023 Perhaps the Tiger Cage Trilogy deserves a mention. Frank Djeng pointed out in his 88 Films BD commentary that the Chinese titles for the 3 movies have no connection to each other and that in Hong Kong they were considered 3 separate movies rather than a series. 2

Especially the girls with guns movies. Yes, Madam (1985): Royal Warriors (1986): Tiger Cage (1988): Killing Angels (1989): Devil Hunters (1989): Also in Germany, Princess Madam (1989) was released as if it was the 4th Iron Angels movie: Killer Angels (which I accidentally called 'Killing Angels') and Devil Hunters seem to have also been released as MegaForce 1 and 2.
