In the US, Armour of God was released as 'Operation Condor 2: The Armour of the Gods' making it seem as though it was the sequel to (Armour of God II) Operation Condor.

It seems as though it was marketed this way because as far as I can tell, Operation Condor got released in the US before Armour of God.

Perhaps the Tiger Cage Trilogy deserves a mention. Frank Djeng pointed out in his 88 Films BD commentary that the Chinese titles for the 3 movies have no connection to each other and that in Hong Kong they were considered 3 separate movies rather than a series.

It seems like there's a few movies that use the title Ultra Force in Germany. Especially the girls with guns movies.

Also in Germany, Princess Madam (1989) was released as if it was the 4th Iron Angels movie:

Killer Angels (which I accidentally called 'Killing Angels') and Devil Hunters seem to have also been released as MegaForce 1 and 2.

No Retreat, No Surrender also went by the title Haastaja (Challenger) in Finland
