The opening credits of "Last Breath" (1985) use stock footage with: planes dropping bombs, helicopters flying and people running. Planes and helicopters are from South Vietnamese "The Purple Horizon" (1971). The people running are not taken from that film. But they do look a bit like the people from the poster above... For "Last Breath's" export version titled "Jungle Heat" new scenes were shot featuring him, Sam Jones and some cast from the original film. Member HyperDrive Posted April 24, 2018 Member Share Posted April 24, 2018 I've always found it interesting that Final Breath/Jungle Heat was written and produced by Tan Tao Liang. That's a good find of unknown footage. In a couple of the pics, you see a hotel sign in English and that could point to footage shot in Malaysia since it was coproduced there.
