From the maker of "The Big Boss Part II" comes this spanktastic story of an escape from Vietnam.

Co-produced with Malaysia.

Completely lost.

It looked like it had some sort of budget with all those extras. The poster lists different companies than the HKMDB entry.

Looking at Chan Chue's page shows some odd stuff like this comedy starring Betty Ting Pei and featuring Sammo Hung:

Then there's The Sharp Fists in Kung Fu.

Wonder what happened to him after he wrote and directed Way of the Black Dragon.

I wonder if this leaned more towards exploitation cinema than the Martial Art genre?. Either way, I'm sure there was some Martial Arts action.

Are there any details pertaining to a basic synopsis for the movie?

I think I have located possible footage from "Escape from Vietnam". The opening credits of "Last Breath" (1985) use stock footage with: planes dropping bombs, helicopters flying and people running. Planes and helicopters are from South Vietnamese "The Purple Horizon" (1971). The people running are not taken from that film. But they do look a bit like the people from the poster above...

Is that THE Christopher Doyle?

Yes. For "Last Breath's" export version titled "Jungle Heat" new scenes were shot featuring him, Sam Jones and some cast from the original film.

I've always found it interesting that Final Breath/Jungle Heat was written and produced by Tan Tao Liang.

That's a good find of unknown footage. In a couple of the pics, you see a hotel sign in English and that could point to footage shot in Malaysia since it was coproduced there. I noticed a couple of other signs as well but they're too far away to read.
