Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted March 30, 2018 Moderator Share Posted March 30, 2018 I got through watching this one last night, a new movie by 'Masquerade' director Choo Chang-min, that tells the tales of an abusive doctor (Jang Dong-gun) seeking vengeance against the man (Ryu Seong-ryong) who accidentally killed his daughter in a hit-and-run. Member AlbertV Posted April 9, 2018 Member Share Posted April 9, 2018 I saw it over the weekend and well, it was okay but also a bit meh. As much I like Jang Dong-Gun, I felt he was a bit too one-dimensional because his character deserves "scumbag of the year". I think the only good thing about the film is Ryu Seong-Ryong's character. He is truly one messed up person from start to end, going from one bad situation to even a worse one. The flashbacks at times confused the hell out of me and the whole little thing of Ryu's son seeing the ghost at times really threw a wrench in it. In other words, starts out promising, ends up a bit meh and more of a one-watch. http://worldfilmgeek.com/2018/04/09/seven-years-of-night-2018/
