Champions (1998) - Louis Mandylor, Ken Shamrock, Danny Trejo

Based on a post in the recent Debt Collector thread, here is a trailer for the 1998 B-movie Champions, which stars Louis Mandylor as William Rockman, a former champion of the tournament "Terminal Combat" who had retired from the ring. Five years later, Terminal Combat is now underground and promoter Max Brito has a new champion in King. When William's brother Raymond is killed by King in the tournament, William must go back to the ring to avenge his brother. I saw this years ago and for what it was, there was quite some nice twists in the story and the usual fights expected in American B-martial arts films. Danny Trejo played Brito and Ken Shamrock played King. Jeff Wolfe played William's brother in the film.

I liked this movie. I remember it having some solid choreography in it. Never understood why Mandylor didn't do more action films.
