My vote went to Police Story.

And just so we're clear, Benny Chan shares director credit on Who Am I?

Are we voting on the best film or the best directed film? Meaning, the film we like the most or the film we feel showed Jackie’s best directing skills?

I was thinking along the lines of "the film we like the most". Using  'directed by' was a way to condense some of Chan's filmography for a poll.

I feel the movie that best shows Jackie's talent as a director is Miracles. But my favorite movie he directed is Police Story (of course).

In that case, my vote goes to “The Young Master”.

Project A, very easy choice. Some fantastic scenes like bar brawl, clocktower fall and bicycle chase. Great humour too. Definitely best movie with pirates, go away jack sparrow!

I would have said Project A,but I think I read somewhere that Sammo had to direct parts to help out because of time restraints (not sure if that’s true though)so I’m going for Police story.👍👍

I voted for Dragon Lord. It is the sort of movie that you could use to convince a sports fan into being a fan of the Kung Fu genre, especially since Jackie fights in a fairly non-showy kind of way.

Police Story, of course. That movie is all kinds of awesome. Didn't realize he directed it tho. That is pretty cool.

I remember the first time I saw Police Story and not knowing whether Jackie was inspired by the mall action sequence in Commando or vice-versa (this was before I had internet access in the 21st century).

Never thought about it before, but you're right. It is very similar to the mall scene in Commando.

Both scenes have mall cops armed with batons, and both scenes even share a similar climax where the hero has to make a big leap to catch someone who is beneath their floor.
