This is not an early April Fool's joke. Michael Fassbender will be starring in a feature length version of David Sandberg's short film Kung Fury. Sandberg is not only going to star in the film, but produce it under his Laser Unicorns productions with David Katzenberg, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Aaron Schmidt. David Hasselhoff is also appearing in the film. The feature length film will be a sequel to the original short film and shooting begins this summer.

Loved the creativity and effort that went into the short, but I hope they use a slightly different approach for the movie. They bombarded you with so much imagery, and far out stuff, that I was just un-interested in the end.
