From the last two RZA screenings, Shaolin vs Wutang and Mystery of Chess Boxing have been remastered and restored in 2k. Actually, the 35mm print of Mystery was provided by Dan Helsted (aka that guy who found all those Shaw Bros 35mm prints in that ex-Shaw Bros movie theater in Canada). 

7 Grandmasters is available remastered and restored but only available on Chinese streaming websites. I've seen it online and it looks beautiful. 

I do believe Dan sometimes screens his own 35mm copy of The Victim and he had said it was in such a bad shape when he found it that he had to personally repair it.

What is the status of this? I read through the entire thread, and did my due diligence searching the web, but I cannot find anything more current/relevant than this thread.

I'd love to have a high quality copy of this film to enjoy, but it seems like this hasn't released yet.

In the meantime, what would folks consider the best available version?

Something tells me it's not the "Wu Tang Collection" version on YouTube...

best available version is the Akuma color corrected dual audio widescreen custom. I haven't kept up to date on this title but I believe this is the best available but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not to add insult to injury and I'm almost certain I'm gonna repeat myself here. But after literally decades of waiting for a decent copy I've honestly lost all interest in this! And I'm gonna say it that goes for all the missing classics as well.

I feel like that train has left the station a long time ago. So to all those who keep teasing and promising a possible release. They can take their prints and shove it up their rear. So it can continue to rot away! Rant over.

technically correct but I don't think that stream has been made available anywhere nor do I know anyone that has ripped it and made it available. The closest this poster can get to the best version is still the Akuma (thuglife) custom.

In case anyone cares I've started to work on a copy of the live stream (36cinema). Given to me by a member of the board a while back.

The copy unfortunately suffers from frame rate issues, hence making it almost impossible to watch. The good news is, it seems I finally figured out how to correct this. If proven successful I'll share the corrected version for FREE.

So don't some dickbag dare grab this and make it available for sale. I'll keep you guys posted.
