Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted January 9, 2018 Moderator Share Posted January 9, 2018 One of the best Korean movies I've seen in a long time, as a political candidates daughter goes missing just 2 weeks before the election, leaving a desperate mother to search for the truth. With echoes of Park Chan-wook's Vengeance Trilogy, it should come as no surprise that director Lee Kyoung-mi worked on the script for 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance', and that same punch-in-the-gut feeling is very much present throughout her sophomore feature. I gave it the full review treatment here - http://cityonfire.com/the-truth-beneath-2015-review/
