Guest jirpy100 Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 I wasn't too impressed. Period Japanese-film about a group of ronin who get drunk alot. They are petty, lonely, self-destroying, and ultimately redeems themselves. It was one of those films which simply said nothing new to me. Nothing stood out. I guess the acting and technical aspects were good (though it felt kinda made-4-tv at times). It's neither a quirky Yojimbo, thoughtful Twilight Samurai, but a meandering Ronin Gai. 6/10.
