Member AlbertV Posted December 6, 2017 Member Share Posted December 6, 2017 Duncan Falconer, author of the eight-novel series revolving around SBS officer John Stratton, co-wrote the screenplay to his character's film debut. Originally to have been played by Henry Cavill, the role ultimately went to Dominic Cooper. The film will hit the U.S. on January 5. In this one, Stratton must stop a biochemical weapon from hitting London from a rogue agent who was also responsible for the death of his best friend. Directed by Simon West (Con Air, The Expendables 2)
Member AlbertV Posted January 2, 2018 Author Member Share Posted January 2, 2018 Here's my review of Stratton and I had the opportunity to interview Simon West about his intention for the film and what he would love to work on next: https://worldfilmgeek.com/2018/01/01/stratton-2017/ https://worldfilmgeek.com/2018/01/01/bringing-a-new-british-action-hero-an-interview-with-stratton-director-simon-west/
Member whitesnake Posted January 30, 2018 Member Share Posted January 30, 2018 Stratton gets a North American Blu-ray and DVD release on February 6, 2018. I thought I'd try reading one of the novels, and ordered Pirate, but haven't started reading it yet.

I ordered the first novel and I know it's set in the 70's but I thought I'd give it a read
