There must have been a new bio film coming out each month, during the peaks year's of the craze?. Of the 1970's Asian movie-bio's, which one is favourite?.

Yes, it's riddled with mistakes but it stands out as better than what came before and after,
Member Killer Meteor Posted August 10, 2020 Member Share Posted August 10, 2020 Bruce Lee: A Dragon Story is quite interesting as a tabloid expose, ripping into Bruce, Linda, Betty Ting Pei, Raymond Chow, Run Run Shaw, Mr and Mrs Lo Wei...it attracted several lawsuits. Pity the fights are seriously lame.

Yes, I like the "soap opera" elements but how can you have a film on Bruce Lee with sub-par action scenes?!

I think Linda Lee tried to sue the distributors when it got released - or maybe that was another film, I forget now. Which Bruce Lee bio movie features the best fight scenes?. It's got to be Bruce Lee-True Story (aka The Man the Myth) I think they really tried to capture the "essence" of his Gung fu. Obviously there are some "theatrical" additions but put them down to cinematic licence>

We can only guess how the Alex Kwon version would have turned out?. Suprised Golden Harvest never produced their own version of events. I guess The Man & The Legend(1973) documentary pretty much covered this area.
