Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted July 8, 2017 Moderator Share Posted July 8, 2017 Director Charles Martin is updating the old 'escort a valued item through treacherous territory' kung-fu movie trope to a contemporary setting with this upcoming British & Chinese co-production, which also features Simon Yam. http://cityonfire.com/s-m-a-r-t-chase-aka-smart-chase-fire-earth/ Check out the trailer below - @mpm74

Member laagi Posted January 30, 2018 Member Share Posted January 30, 2018 Well I took a chance and watched it... I don't know what it was but I thought it was pretty damn awful. I mean I can forgive poor story etc. as long as at least the action delivers. Unfortunately neither does. Also, why did they decide to let a mostly chinese cast speak english!? At times it's just simply dreadful to hear them speak; no offence. Also the movie tries way to hard to be "cool". Maybe it's something to waste your time on for 90 minutes (if you got nothing else to do) but I don't recommend it.
