Member AlbertV Posted June 14, 2021 Member Share Posted June 14, 2021 (edited) South African actress/singer/songwriter Liesl Ahlers talks briefly about her martial arts experience while promoting her 2020 film Triggered. She is a brown belt in Hapkido. I would love to see her use those skills in a movie down the road Edited July 22, 2021 by AlbertV

I'm not sure what Elaine Lui's MA background was, but she was far more convincing than Sibelle Hu was in her fight scenes. That said, in her interview for Deadly China Dolls: Top Fighter 2, it was clear that Lui was bitter at being typcast into action movie roles. Member Cognoscente Posted February 5, 2022 Member Share Posted February 5, 2022 Elaine was the opposite to Sylvia Chang. The latter was a martial artist but didn't want to be typecast so she never let on what she could do.
